Reactionary forces hatching plan to upset changes: NCP Chair Dahal

Kathmandu, July 29 : Nepal Communist Party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday said reactionary forces were conspiring to upset reforms like federal democratic republic system achieved through great sacrifice of the people.

“Reactionary forces are planning to overturn the federal democratic republic. Nepal will plunge into a crisis if this system is upset. All should unite against such forces,” he said at an event organised here to welcome defecting leaders and cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal into the NCP. He also urged all to come together to establish socialism.

On the occasion, Raman Ghimire, who abandoned the Chand-led CPN, said he left the party after realising that he was following a wrong path. Eight CPN leaders and cadres including Ghimire defected to the CPN.
