Pokhara, Sept 1, Journalist Uma Alemagar has been honoured with the CIS journalism prize-2076 for her contribution to the field of Right to Information and good governance. The prize is presented by the Community Information Society (CIS) Pokhara.
At a function held at Machhapuchre rural municipality on Saturday, Chief Commissioner of National Information Commission Krishna Hari Banskota and deputy mayor of Machhapuchre Krishna Kumari Poudel Dawadi presented the prize to Alemagar. The prize carries a purse of Rs. 11,111.
