NC CWC meeting dwells on issues related to its sister organizations

Kathmandu, Aug 29: Today’s meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of Nepali Congress (NC) deliberated on a wide range of issues related to its sister organizations.

The meeting, held in the chairmanship of NC’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba at NC central office at Sanepa, Lalitpur, discussed about approving the statute of some sister organizations as well as appointment of new leadership in them.

NC General-Secretary Purna Bahadur Khada presented the proposal for deliberation on the sister organizations while Joint General-Secretary Dr Ram Sharan Mahat presented the proposal on contemporary political affairs, informed NC’s central office’s Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.

Present in the meeting were NC CWC members Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, Arjun Narshing KC, Bal Bahadur KC, Farmullha Mansur, Sujata Koirala, Nabindra Raj Joshi, Kamala Panta, Mohan Bahadur Basnet among others who voiced their respective opinions on the issues and agenda presented in the proposals.

The next meeting of NC CWC is scheduled on August 30 at 11 am, shared Chief Secretary Poudel.
