Pokhara, Sept 25 . A meeting of the Gandaki State Assembly today passed the Bill Designed to Establish, Manage and Operate the Gandaki University.
The Assembly passed the bill by a majority. Social Development Minister of the State Government, Naradevi Pun had presented a proposal along with the report of the Legislation Committee, seeking passage of the bill.
Assembly members from the main opposition Nepali Congress had voted against the bill.
