Citizen’s help desk in 14 locations

Kathmandu, Sept 5 . The government is to set up citizen’s help desk in 14 different locations in Kathmandu valley for facilitating people leaving for their village home for the upcoming Dashain and Tihar festivals. The help desk will run from September 27 to October 1.

The help desk is being established by the Department of Transport Management. A meeting was also held on Wednesday at the Transport Management Office to discuss about the matter, as well as opening pre-bookings for bus tickets. Traffic police and representatives of the office and transport entrepreneurs took part in the meeting.

All the Ministries of Physical Infrastructure in the provinces will also be urged to set up such help desk, said Director General of the Department Gogan Bahadur Hamal. The decision about the pre-bookings of bus ticket will be taken by next week.
