The chapter has filed an application at the District Police Office after an unidentified gang vandalized the office recently. Chapter Chair Dil Shirish said the CCTV was installed not only to be remain safe but also to identify the attackers.

Eight cameras have been installed for now, he said, adding that these cameras do surveillance from the outer premises to the third floor of the building. “We’re compelled to set up the CCTV because of the series of vandalism in the office especially during night,” he added.

In the recent three weeks, water pumping motor and electricity meter box were damaged, and internet cable snapped in the office. District Police Office Chief Nawaraj Bhatta informed that although the police had not taken the vandalism seriously, the series of attack made them inspect it thoroughly. The FNJ office is near the District Police Office, he added.
