Financial aid to ailing journo Subedi

Kathmandu, March 17 : Financial assistance collected at the initiative of Federation of Nepali Journalists, South Korea, for the treatment of ailing journalist Arjun Subedi has been handed over.

At a programme organsied at the FNJ central office, Rs 105,113 was handed over to journalist Subedi suffering from liver and bile duct illness.  

Handing over the financial aid, FNJ Vice-President Dilip Thapa Magar thanked the South Korea chapter of FNJ for the support.

On the occasion, journalist Subedi expressed gratitude towards the well wishers. Subedi, affiliated with Nagarik Daily, is undergoing treatment for the past one year.  He also recently underwent two major surgeries. South Korea chapter of FNJ had launched a week-long campaign to collect the donation for the treatment of journo Subedi.
