Kathmandu, Nov 17: The Progressive Writers’ Association is scheduled to organise demonstrations at Shanti Batika in Ratnapark today against encroachment of Nepali territories, Kalapani, Limbiyadhura and Lipulek Pass by India.
The Association has launched a protest campaign named ‘Seema Atikraman Biruddha Srashtaharu 2076’ (creators against border encroachment, 2976) against the encroachment. As part of the protest campaign, creators would protest against the encroachment through poetry citation, songs and dances, said President of the Association Dr Jibendra Dev Giri.
Earlier a week ago, the People’s Cultural Federation, Nepal close to ruling Nepal Communist Party also organised a literary event in Ratnapark against the encroachment.
