Banepa, Aug 4: Two persons died in separate road accidents in Kavrepalanchowk district along BP highway on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as corporal at Kalishhiddhi Battalion, Bardibas Bhojraj Shrestha, 37, of Salyantar-3 in Dhading district and Ashakaji Waiba, 26, of Roshi rural municipality-7 in Kavrepalanchowk district.
Shrestha died when a motorcycle (Na 62 Pa 7316) heading towards Bardibas from Kathmandu fell into the drain, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deepak Giri.
Similarly, Waiba died when a scooter (Ba 99 Pa 3397) heading towards Banepa from Sanga collided with a truck (Ba 6 Kha 7315) heading towards the same direction. Waiba was scooter rider.
