Kathmandu, July 23 : Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada has urged the auditors to maintain their professional integrity, and thereby submit factual reports. He also stressed that genuine and fact-based audit reports were inevitable for maintaining fiscal discipline in the country.
Addressing a programme organised by Institute of Chartered Accountancy Nepal (ICAN) here today, the Finance Minister said that the Ministry was ready to hold discussion if there were any impractical provisions related to collection of tax as determined by the financial act.
ICAN Chair Krishna Prasad Acharya lamented over the inclusion of his non-profit-making institution into the taxing net.
