Remove ‘disqualified tag’ on us: ex-combatants

Kathmandu, Jan 30: The ex-combatants, who were disqualified to be integrated with the national security forces, have demanded the removal of ‘disqualified’ tag on them.

During a press meet in the central capital on Wednesday, in-charge of the disqualified ex-combatants Tej Bahadur Budhathoki demanded that the government brought a scheme that would ensure long-term management of the disqualified combatants in terms of financial security.

He also reminded the government that the agreement made overtimes need to be implemented. Chairman of the disqualified people’s liberation army, Asim Limbu said they would continue their struggle for identity, justice, and nationality.

General Secretary Rajan Thapa argued that they had played a significant role to ensure peace process in the country.
