Kaski, July 24, Nepali Congress (NC) has stepped up a campaign to search for honest cadres to boost party performance. At a press meet organized in Pokhara, campaign coordinator Prof Dr Bhupati Dhakal said the party organization was eroding due to factional feuds and in-breeding.
NC spearheaded all democratic movements including the popular movement for ending Rana oligarchy to establishment of democracy and republican system in the country, he said, stressing the need of a robust party organization for defending nation and democracy.
He informed the campaign for exploring honest cadres would be scaled up across the country as the factions make the party feeble and a weak party could not perform for country and democracy.
The objective of the campaign is to keep alive the glorious contributions of the NC and make it functional based on values, said Dhakal, also the former central president of Nepal University Teachers’ Association. “A disciplined and dynamic NC is indispensable for the country”, he claimed on the occasion.
