Lahan, Siraha, March 23 : Three persons were killed in two separate fire incidents in Siraha district on Saturday.
Two children–six-year-old Diksha Dhamala, daughter of Dipak Dhamala and Ritu Pokharel, a seven-year-old daughter of Nitya Raj – were burnt alive when a fire caught the cowshed of Dipak at Amiltar of Dhangadhimai municipality-4, said the police.
The children in the neighbourhood might have torched the cowshed, the locals said. The flame was doused after one and a half hours with the help of the police and the locals.
Likewise, Banarasi Devi Sadaya, 50, died in a fire at Bhediyo Purbari village of Kalyanpur municipality-7, said the police.
