Kathmandu, Aug 16 : The monsoon has continued in the country as the eastern low pressure belt, ranging from north Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi to West Bengal of India and having the origin in the Bay of Bangladesh, is at the average point, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Issuing a special bulletin on Friday evening, the Department predicted heavy rainfall in some places of eastern and mid-hilly areas for three days. Citing the reason, the Department requested one and all to adopt alertness.
