Govt won’t promote employees based on any favour: Minister Pandit

Parbat, Aug 16 : Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit, has said that the government would not transfer and promote employees based on their favour.

Speaking in a press meet organised by the Press Organisation at Kushma on Friday, Minister Pandit said that transfer and promotion of employees would be based on their qualification, capacity, seniority and the system. As he informed, the Public Service Commission would publish result within October as per annual calendar, and there would not be shortage of employees at any level thereafter. The country is facing shortage of around 32,000 employees at present, according to Minister Pandit.

Minister Pandit informed that the Commission was to hire a large number of employees for the first time in history, so that government would have adequate human resource to provide public service in the changed context of federal system.

He hoped that Federal Civil Service Act would be passed this week as it is in the final stage.
