Lamki, Aug 16, a fish pond in Tikapur-7, Beluwa of Kailali. The crocodile had sneaked into the pond from the Pathariya River.
Police and local conservationists rescued the crocodile from the fish pond of Tek Bahadur Malla, a local, and released into the confluence of Pathariya and Kadha rivers.
Fish-keeper Malal had informed the police after spotting crocodile in the pond. A team from the Police Post Satti headed by In-charge Dault Pujara had rescued the crocodile. The fish pond is one kilometer away from the Patharaiya River.
