Damauli, July 30, Bhanu municipality of Tanahun district has provided financial assistance for the treatment of the child injured in cheetah attack.
A six-year-old Hemraj Sunuwar of Thulo Bagaincha of Bhanu municipality-2 was injured when cheetah attacked him on Sunday night.
The municipality and ward no 2 provided Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 financial assistance respectively with an objective of helping in child’s treatment.
Sunuwar is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College. Mayor of Bhanu municipality Udayraj Gauli, Deputy-Mayor Asha and chairperson of ward no 2, Arjun KC, on Monday handed over the amount to child’s grandfather Gopi Bahadur Sunuwar Rai.
Ward chair KC said that mother of the injured child is in foreign employment. The child has undergone neck surgery.
