Inruwa, March 28 Loss worth amounting to Rs 2 million was incurred in a fire that occurred in Harinagar rural municipality-4 of Sunsari last night.According to District Police Office Sunsari, the fire broke out at the house of Bijaya Jain, a local resident, due to short circuit caused damages worth over Rs 2 million.
The fire turned into ashes the two-storied house of Jain, located in the central part of the market, along with grocery fancy shops, confirmed Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal, DSP of Sunsari Police.
Rimjhim Kumari Bhagat, Vice-Chair of Harinagar rural municipality, said the fire caused a big loss due to delay in bringing fire under control. The delay arrival of fire engine from Inaruwa triggered unexpected loss, she added.
