Modern ‘B’ block of Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital inaugurated

Galkot, Oct 1, A modern ‘B’ Block building of Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital, Baglung, has been inaugurated today. Minister for Social Development of Gandaki state, Nardevi Pun, inaugurated the building. The building was constructed at a cost of Rs 63.9 million, according to the Project Implementation Unit, Kaski.

The three-storey modern building has 32 rooms. On the occasion, Minister Pun said that the state government has been investing more investment in health sector being sensitive towards people’s health.

Saying an environment conducive where the people can get basic health services from government hospitals has been created, Minister Pun said that Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital has been moving ahead to become the best hospital out of 10 hospitals under the state government.

She said that the state government has allocated Rs 60 million to purchase medical equipments of the hospital this year. Similarly, Chairperson of the Hospital Management Committee, KB Rana Magar, said that it would be easier to provide treatment to the patients with the completion of the building.
