Surkhet, Sept 21 Karnali state government has planted 300 saplings on the occasion of Constitution Day on Saturday.
A team led by Chief Minister of Karnali state, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, planted saplings along two kilometres road from Mangalgadhi chowk to airport of Surkhet district.
On the occasion, he said that the Karnali state government has adopted a policy to develop all local levels of Karnali state as green cities from this current fiscal year, adding that the saplings were planted in this connection. The Chief Minister expressed the belief that the policy of Karnali state government would help develop the state as environment-friendly state.
