Kathmandu, Sept 5 . The 11-day art exhibition organised by International Watercolour Society (IWS) Nepal with collaboration of Nepal Fine Art Academy at Naxal has concluded. A total of four countries—Nepal, India, Bangladesh and China had participated in the expo.
On the occasion, the artists said that the expo became an opportunity to learn as well as expand relations.
Paintings of senior and famous artists of the four countries were put on display in the expo. Chairperson of IWS Nepal, NB Gurung said that Nepali artists got opportunity to learn from paintings of foreign artists as well as the expo helped to expand mutual relations.
Nepali artists- Diram Palpali, NB Gurung, DB Rai, Nar Bahadur BK, Binod Kumar Gupta and Suresh Syangtang, among others sketched paintings every day during the expo. More than 1,000 people visited the expo, according to the organizer.
A total of 43 paintings from Nepal, 15 from India and 11 each from Bangladesh and China had been kept on display in the expo.
