Kathmandu, Aug 24 : The Nepali Congress has expressed sorrow over the demise of Prayagdatta Lekhak, father of Ramesh Lekhak, former minister and NC central member.
“I am saddened by demise of Lekhak. He had contributed to democratic movements of Nepal,” said NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba in a statement of condolence on Saturday.
He also offered his tribute to Lekhak and expressed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members including NC central member Ramesh Lekhak. The NC President also wished for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Lekhak of Bedkot municipality-8 in Kanchanpur died on Friday at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu. He was 87.
