Lalitpur, Aug 22 : A robust security system has been put in place at and around the Krishna Temple of Patan as the temple sees staggering number of devotees on the Krishna Janmastami that falls on tomorrow.
Adequate security personnel have been deployed for the security of the devotees, according to the Metropolitan Police Range’s Superintendent of Police, Durga Singh.
Devotees have begun thronging the Krishna Temple as the regular worship rituals end at 1:00 am tonight and devotees pay veneration to the Lord Krishna who is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Bishnu.
Similarly, around 300 members from Mangal Tol Sudhar Sangh and 300 other volunteers from various social organizations have been mobilized to facilitate the visitors, Sangh’s Secretary Rabi Darshandhari said.
