Proposal seeking deliberation on Madan Bhandari Science and Technology University Bill-2076 passed unanimously

Kathmandu, Aug 22 : The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Thursday unanimously approved the proposal seeking deliberation on the Madan Bhandari Science and Technology University Bill-2076.

Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Girirajmani Pokharel, presented the proposal on the same. Responding to the queries raised by the parliamentarians on the Bill, Minister Pokharel assured that the Bill was brought forward after acknowledging the need of the hour.

Pokharel said that Bill was necessary to advance the cause of economic prosperity of the nation.

Participating in the discussion were Khagaraj Adhikari, Ram Kumari Jhankri, Nawaraj Silwal, Renuka Gurung, Pushpa Bhusal, Prakash Snehi, Dr Minendra Rijal, and Gagan Kumar Thapa, among others.

Likewise, the meeting unanimously endorsed the proposal seeking deliberation on the ‘Civil Investment Fund (Second Amendment) Bill-2075.

The proposal was presented by Minister for Finance Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada where Divyamani Raj Bhandari, Dr Minendra Rijal and Renuka Gurung had participated in the discussion on it.
