Kathmandu, Aug 19, The government has begun a process to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Nepal Forest Corporation Limited constituted by merging The Timber Corporation of Nepal and Forest Products Development Board.
The Ministry of Forest and Environment on Sunday issued a 15-day notice, seeking application from the interested candidate(s) meeting required criteria to fight in the open competition.
The Corporation was formed by integrating two organisations as per the Cabinet decision on June 6 and a notice to this regard was published on the National Gazette on July 1.
At least Master’s degree in Forestry or Natural Resource Management or Economics or Management and at least seven year’s work experience on the managerial post at a public or private organisation and the completion of 30 years of age are required qualifications to apply for the post.
As the Ministry said, a three-member committee has been formed to facilitate the appointment process. Shortlisted candidate(s) will be summoned for the presentation of professional action plan.
