Kathmandu, Aug 18, The national volleyball team of Uzbekistan has arrived Kathmandu to participate in the SCV Central Zone Male Volleyball Competition to be kicked off from tomorrow.
Volleyball teams from other participating countries have already arrived to vie in the Competition will be held from August 19-24. Nepal is organizing the event for the first time where seven countries from SAARC-member countries are competition including Nepal as well as from Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Nepal is in group A along with Kyrgyzstan and Maldives while Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan are in group B.
Nepal will face Kyrgyzstan tomorrow while Afghanistan and Turkmenistan. Bangladesh and Uzbekistan will play on Monday evening. All matches will be held in the Army Physical Training and Sports Centre at Lagankhel in Lalitpur.
