Jajarkot, Aug 8, The District Administration Office, Jajarkot, has established lactation room at the office and brought into use from today.
The office established the lactation room keeping the service recipients into mind. Chief District Officer, Lalit Kumar Basnet, said that the office established the breastfeeding room and brought into use from today to address the complaints about the problem facing by women service recipients visiting the office for different purpose in lack of the lactation room.
Dozens of people visit the District Administration Office daily for different purpose including making citizenship certificate and passport.
He said that although the office had wanted to establish the lactation room earlier, it was not possible in lack of room. Basnet expressed the belief that such act of the office would further strengthen relation between administration and people.
