Balewa, July 26, A youth of Baglung district, who is undergoing treatment of ASO Closure at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in Kathmandu, has been facing financial crunch in his treatment.
Shyam Lal Regmi (Basanta), 19, of Jhiwakhola of Nisikhola rural municipality-4 has been facing financial problem as he has to undergo surgery. Regmi, belonging from middle class family, requested all for the financial assistance, saying his family spent all amount to find out the problem.
He is undergoing treatment at the hospital since May 26. Doctors say the surgery will cost Rs 600 thousand. He said the Regmi family could not afford this cost as it is economically a poor family.
He has pleaded for financial support as the family also does not have any source of income. The hospital has fixed the date for surgery August 18 to 24. The Nishikhola rural municipality has also provided a recommendation urging for financial help to Regmi.
The local youths have started a fund collection campaign in support of the ailing Regmi.
