Kathmandu, March 19 : Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Aryal, has said that women empowerment campaign would be effective from promotion of women entrepreneurship.
At a seminar ‘Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship’ organised by Nepal US Alumni Network (NUSAN) here today, Minister Aryal said that the government was active for the women upliftment and development.
Saying it was necessary to make women entrepreneur to materialize government’s campaign ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’, she said that different programmes have been launched to make women self-reliant and entrepreneur.
Minister Aryal said, “Private sector should make programmes as per the necessity of the market and the government should formulate policy in order to help them. Women empowerment and entrepreneurship should be developed in Public-Private partnership.”
