Kathmandu, Sept 22 . The Nepali Embassy in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar held a programme to mark the Constitution Day and National Day of Nepal.
Communications Minister Pe Myint of Myanmar was present in the programme attended by heads of diplomatic missions, former ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal, UN representatives, Nepali speaking population of Myanmar and Nepali nations living and working in Myanmar.
On the occasion, Minister Myint gave assurances to provide all possible support from Myanmar in making Visit Nepal Year 2020 successful. The Communications Minister also wishes that the national aspiration of prosperous Nepal and happy Nepalis become a reality.
Nepali Ambassador to Myanmar Bhim Udas said the latest bilateral visits have strengthened the diplomatic relations established more than 60 years ago between the two countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
