Biratnagar, Sept 16 .State 1 chief minister Sherdhan Rai has peace and security as the precondition for achieving development and prosperity.
While inaugurating the CCTV facility at the District Police Office, Morang today, the chief minister pledged support to strengthen security system in the state and to set examples in the concerned area. The state government assisted the DPO to have the CCTV.
Assuring of tight surveillance to avert possible irregularities, the chief minister said a project bank would be opened and an investment summit would be here to seek opportunities for strengthening the state economy.
According to him, the state-level security meeting concluded yesterday directed for searching public lands across the state. He urged police administration to work with high confidence.
Inspector General of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal praised the state government for its support to increase efficiency of security mechanism and enable them in terms of technology.
An atmosphere had been enabled for police winning the public trust for partnership with the community to combat crimes, he said, directing the police administration to move ahead improving weaknesses. He advised them to perform by keeping the responsibility and duties towards the people and nation in the center.

DPO Superintendent of Police Bishwa Adhikari shared that the CCTV was installed at the cost of Rs 11. 4 million and it could capture information relating to an area inside the 60 kilometers in the district
