Achham, Aug 30. Two persons were killed and five others were injured in road accident in Achham district on Friday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Kausi Saud, 30, and Kitthi Saud, 31, of Mallek-7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Janak Bahadur Shahi.
The accident took place when a jeep (Se 1 Ja 986) heading towards Mallek from Saphebagar fell some three metres off the road near Nandegada bazaar.
The injured– jeep driver Nripa Saud, Janak Saud, Sajan Sauda, Manisha Upadhyay as well as one another injured, whose identity has not been ascertained yet, have been taken to Bayalpata Hospital for treatment.
