Engineers’ role imperative for prosperity: Ex-PM Khanal

Kathmandu, July 19 – Senior leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Prime Minister, Jhalanath Khanal, has said the role of engineers was imperative for rebuilding the nation.

Inaugurating the 57th anniversary of Nepal Engineers Association here Friday, the former Prime Minister pointed out the need for prioritizing reconstruction of infrastructures in the country.

On the occasion, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit, Minister for Energy and Irrigation, Barsha Man Pun, and Minister for Infrastructure Development, Raghubir Mahaseth, urged the engineers to join their hands in the mission of prosperity. The Association Chairman Triratna Bajracharya briefed the leaders about the Association activities.
